Cargo stowage and securing - CTU

On 06.03.07, warehouses men and some office clerks attended successfully an intern session for stuffing trucks and containers.

The purpose of this session, organised by PESA, is to load trucks and container according:

• CTU container packing guidelines, road guidelines EN-12195
• IMO / ILO UN ECE Guidelines for packing of cargo Transport unit’s (CTU)
• Code of safe Practice for CARGO STOWAGE AND SECURING

The session was partly theoretical and partly practical to know how to load and stow various cargo into the containers. We are now equipped with nets, air cushions, straps, etc. in order to secure the stowage of any parcel.
